Learning, in essence, is the right thing to do. When we apply learning even to minor matters, those minor matters become elevated. Without the guidance of learning, everything would degenerate into vulgarity.

  • USC Viterbi CURVE Program, CA, Los Angeles 09 - 12 2025
    • Guided undergraduate students to familiar with the field of AI for DB.
    • Lead students to conduct research on the field of union tuning for database systems, we focus on how to make the learned compoents (Learned Index, Learned Query Optimizer, Knob Tuning, .etc.) work together.
  • USC SHINE Program, CA, Los Angeles 05 - 07 2024
    • Guided high school student to familar with the field of AI for DB.
    • Hands-on guidances on how to use remote server, weights & bias, Linux OS, Cloud Lab, Github, .etc.
    • Decided and assigned them reading papers and refered codes to individually improve the performance of the prototype system (Balsa).
    • Spent 18 hours per week.
